Creamy Butternut Squash Sauce

True to it’s name, it is rich and buttery in texture. 
It’s also super easy to hide it in recipes for those kids who don’t like
veggies.

A creamy, dairy free sauce recipe!

 

Yields 4 cups sauce

Prep Time: 10 min

Cook Time: 30 min

Total Time: 40 min

Ingredients:

·        
2 cups cashews, soaked overnight

·        
1 butternut squash, cubed and boiled to soften

·        
2 cups water

·        
2 cloves garlic, minced

·        
2 tsp sea salt (or to taste)

Instructions:

1.      
Drain the water from the soaked cashews.

2.     
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend
until smooth.

Notes:

This should keep at least 5 days in the fridge. It can also
be frozen. Enjoy!
