This cheese is delicious and it’s dairy free. Another good
thing is this is not like others that are soy based.
This would not only be a good sauce to eat with nachos,
but it makes a great base for a dairy free mac and cheese.
Yields: 2 cups

2 cups raw cashews (soaked overnight
1 cup water
3/4 cup nutritional yeast
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
salt to taste
Soak the cashews in water overnight.
The next day, drain and rinse them.
Put all the ingredients in a blender and
blend until smooth.
You can store it in the fridge in an airtight container.
Should keep for a few weeks. You may even be able to freeze it.
